Mascherpa, the first “Tiramisù boutique” in Milan

Tiramisu in all possible versions can be tasted greedily at Mascherpa , the “tiramisu boutique” in Milan. Among the most famous and appreciated Italian desserts in the world, even Milan, therefore, has a restaurant entirely dedicatedwith Tiramisu . In fact, at number 7 in via De Amicis there is this nice place where it will be possible to taste the fantastic dessert in numerous versions, from the most classic to the most original and particular ones.

Description

Mascherpa takes this particular name, from the dialectal form of the word mascarpone, which is the only ingredient of the Lombard dessert. But Mascherpa is also the term that was given to indicate those who came from the countryside and went to the city to bring the cheese.

As a local, even if it is small, it is very bright. Not for nothing, Andrea Vasquez Medina gave a strong contribution to the realization of Mascherpa, who, in addition to being the partner of Giuseppe Loiero, the owner, is also a good and talented architect. Thanks to this important contribution, Mascherpa has taken on a wonderful and engaging atmosphere, embellished with very refined details such as, for example, the wonderful white marble counter. In addition there are elegant brass finishes that go beautifully to mix with various pieces of craftsmanship.

New “tiramisuteca” of Milan, Mascherpa, therefore, offers exclusively desserts that are based on ladyfingers and which have a variant made by them, the recipe of Sardinian Pistoccus, with a pistachio and lemon flavor, and mascarpone cream prepared by Giovanna Anoia according to the family recipe. A recipe she is so fond of that she decided, together with her son Giuseppe Loiero, to dedicate this fantastic place.

The basic ingredients that are used in Mascherpa, even if they are the classics, can then be combined by each customer among the various flavors that are offered as: mango, matcha, chocolate and strawberry, pistachio, hazelnut or Nutella .

Another peculiarity of Mascherpa in Milan is that not only the customer can decide the taste of the tiramisu, but he can also decide the shape . In fact, you can taste tiramisu in a jar, or in a broken down version, as well as in mini boules, or small and delicious chocolate pralines filled with their cream, or in a strip version.

Although the origins of tiramisu are somewhat debated, what is certain is that it is a very popular dessert both in Italy and abroad. One aspect, however, on which everyone agrees is that his recipe does not appear in any cookbook in the years preceding the second half of the last century. Consequently, since the tiramisu recipe can only be found after the 1960s, it is believed to be a newly invented dessert.

What matters, however, is that at Mascherpa, the first tiramisuteca in Milan, it will be possible to taste it greedily in all its possible and delicious variations.
